MANUSH Voice

Role (Doc B §12): Natural multilingual interaction.

MANUSH Voice gives robots natural, multilingual conversation — including native interaction across Indian languages and dialects.

Responsibilities

• Speech recognition and synthesis tuned for noisy factories, stations and homes.
• Intent understanding and dialogue for commands, confirmations and status questions.
• Language switching mid-conversation (for example Hindi ↔ English ↔ Marathi).
• Spoken safety interactions: warnings, stop words and emergency announcements.

Building voice agents

Voice agents built with the MANUSH SDK map intents to skills and robot actions. Keep safety-relevant confirmations explicit ("Shall I start welding?") and never let a voice command override MANUSH Safety.
